About the movie

After two years of pandemic spent in Krakow, the renowned violinist Zbigniew Paleta returns to an empty home on the outskirts of Mexico City. A place filled with mementos of his late wife, memories of his famous daughters' childhood, and events from his fading career. Unexpectedly, the virtuoso receives an offer to perform again with the legendary rock band EL TRI, with whom he played in the 90s. Seeing a chance to return to the big stage, the virtuoso embarks on a sentimental journey. Armed with his violins, he sets out to renew old friendships and perhaps play his last concert before a crowd of thousands.

Zbigniew Paleta is known as the first violinist of Piwnica pod Baranami. In 1980, he began collaborating with Orchestra DE LA CIUDAD and traveled to Mexico. The martial law prevented his return to his homeland. The Paleta family remained in exile and became forever linked to Mexico.
